Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects on a barge.

Responsible for multiple types of activities required to perform the driving of different types of piles using various equipment in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Responsibilities:

* Assembling pile driving leads, connecting hoses, rigging material and equipment.

* Shakeout of items to be installed into erectable sequence and rigging of same for crane hoisting with a thorough knowledge and use of crane signals.

* Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.

* Assist other craft workers as needed.

* Have the knowledge to determine size, length and quantities of materials needed for the work.

* Perform work in compliance with contract plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

* Experience with concrete and steel pipes, setting up template, and welding.

* Must be willing and able to work outside all day long, 8 - 10 hours.

* Must be able to work some weekends.

* Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

* Must be willing to perform strenuous, consistent, physical activity throughout the day.
