Job Description
Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,700
Position Summary
Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate control procedures.
Essential Functions

• Perform pre-period close reviews.
• Open/close general ledger modules, as necessary.
• Process electronic bank statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Post bad-debt provisions.
• Manage inventory valuation bookings.
• Manage asset depreciation.
• Manage FX currency revaluations.
• Manage tax payables/expenses.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Close previous accounting periods in the general ledger.
• Complete all post-closing activities.
• Complete year-end general ledger closing activities.
• Perform general ledger asset management activities, as necessary.
• Retained finance activities.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Highly detailed oriented and organized in work
• Analytical and reasoning skills for preparing variance analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting theory
• Strong computer skills using a variety of software programs
• Strong leadership to assist, lead projects from start to finish
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Business writing skills
• Proficiency with email and office applications

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience
