Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Systems Integration Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field. We will consider equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. The specialist will play a crucial role in the implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support of clinical laboratory systems, with a focus on Epic Beaker CP.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, troubleshoot, test, and support clinical laboratory systems, with a specialization in Epic Beaker CP.
• Utilize LIS and/or pathology industry knowledge to enhance clinical operations.
• Manage instrument interfaces and ensure seamless integration with laboratory systems.
• Leverage expertise in Data Innovations (DI) to optimize system performance.
• Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in Windows, UNIX, hardware, networking, and servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application implementations.
• Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, peers, and management to drive project success.
• Deliver engaging presentations and documentation to support system implementations.
• Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of clinical or IT experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current certification in Epic Beaker CP.
• Experience with LIS and/or pathology industry, particularly in clinical laboratories.
• Proficiency in instrument interface management.
• Prior experience with Data Innovations (DI).
• Strong technical skills in Windows, UNIX, and desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change.
• Clinical experience (MT, PA) is a plus.
• Previous involvement in full life cycle application/system implementations preferred.
