We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who ensures an exceptional customer experience by being proactive, hands-on and ready to jump in to do whatever it takes to support the team

Status: Full-Time; Salaried
Hours: Monday to Friday
7 am – 3 pm (extended hours may be required during busy season)

A typical day:

• Coordinating and tracking deliveries to their destination
• Interfacing with internal and external partners to identify, plan, and execute efficient transportation plans
• Set specific priorities with assigned carriers and warehouse operations to accomplish delivery fulfillment and meet the shipment schedule
• Oversee carrier scheduling based on mode and monitor transit times
• Communicating with vendors to schedule pick ups of materials & supplies
• Matching shipments to purchase orders
• Creating purchase orders
• Coordinating run/routes for driver pick ups
• Providing updates on deliveries to co-workers
• Coordinating outbound transportation through 3rd party transportation companies

Who we are looking for:

• 1-2 years of logistics experience
• Willingness to learn and problem solve.
• Comfortable dealing with all levels of an organization.
• Well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
