Warehouse Lead
The Warehouse Lead position holds a key supervisory role that enables you to push for a Positive Environment in which you will provide both direction and encouragement for a team of material handlers working in a fast pace environment. As a Lead you will be a key element in the success of developing your teammates, meeting hourly deadlines of which you will be held accountable for your team's performance goals. So, at this time TeamOne Logistics is seeking a candidate that sets their sights high to meet or exceed their performance goals, taking advantage of an incredible opportunity to showcase their leadership skills!
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Hourly: $26.00 per hour
Must have a flexible schedule and able to work in 2 locations, Fontana and City of Industry, CA.
Shift: Monday - Friday 5PM -5AM or until work is finished. Sunday 5am-5PM
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3PM-11:30PM or until work is finished.
Night Shift: Monday - Friday 11PM-7:30AM or until work is finished.
Saturday or Sunday 5AM-4PM or until work is finished.
Work schedule 5-6 days per week - must be flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track the team's production hourly and daily goals.
* Always show the associates gratitude making them realize they are important to the team.
* Meet with your team, provide clear direction, and uphold daily accountability.
* Coach the team when they are under performing
* Take the initiative to motivate your team to meet deadlines.
* Train and teach associates to further their career path.
* Safely work in a fast pace environment making decisions quickly.
* Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
* Lift boxes up to 70lbs
* Communicate clearly with fellow leads and managers via email, text and phone.
Required Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Lead/Supervisor position directing and working alongside a team of 15 associates in a fast-paced work environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels in both oral and written form.
* 1 year Quality Control
* 1 year Safety Management
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel Required).
