Location: Hybrid

Position Description: The Project Lead Assistant supports the planning, implementation, and delivery of project goals, deliverables, work products, and performance.

Minimum/General Experience: 5 years of experience supporting projects

Minimum Education: Bachelors' Degree in an associated discipline; Program Management Institute (PMI), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (preferred)

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Above average ability to support project deliverables, work products, and activities
  • Above average experience assisting with project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Schedules, Work Plans, and Action Items
  • Above average experience supporting and monitoring an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Above average experience assisting consultants to implement project goals
  • Experience supporting process improvement
  • Knowledge of PMI project and program management methodology and techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
  • Effective in interpersonal relationship building and collaboration
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience working for a federal contractor
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of federal civilian agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs (preferred), Defense Health Agency, Health and Human Services) (preferred)
  • Experience with MS Project (preferred)
  • Experience providing project management to projects that provide services under NAICs 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services (e.g., strategic planning, governance, performance management/dashboards) (preferred)

Security: Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years

Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:

  • Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events
  • OPM Security Investigations Index (SII)
  • DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)
  • National Agency Check (NAC) records
  • FBI name check
  • FBI fingerprint check
  • Credit report check
  • Written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the application for employment
  • Potential interviews with the subject, spouse, neighbors, supervisor, coworkers
  • Law enforcement check
  • Court records check
  • Education check- Attendance and Degrees

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implements Oxley Enterprises®, Inc. Program Management Office (PMO) processes, procedures, and templates
  • Leverages tools and techniques to accelerate project progress and success
  • Supports the development, maintenance, and implementation of Program Management Plans based on Oxley PMO templates and client requirements
  • Creates/maintains/supports WBS, Schedules, Work Plans and IMS
  • Assists in overseeing deliverable and work product quality
  • Assists team members in translating client requirements into deliverables and work products
  • Assists team to maintain project schedule(s) to include critical paths and work package reprioritization based upon available resources
  • Assists managing stakeholder communication and satisfaction
  • Assists managing conflict resolution within the framework of business and project objectives
  • Assists in the identification, tracking, analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks and issues
  • Assists in the capture and usage of project lessons learned, as well as, client deliverable/work lessons learned
  • Creates internal and external communication products
  • Reports on progress and status of project deliverables
  • Leverages tools and techniques to ensure project success
