Korum Automotive Group is Hiring a Porter Near Puyallup, WA
The Service Porter plays a key role as part of the Service Department Team. This position helps keep the service department running smoothly by prepping vehicles with protective materials and moving them from the service drive to ensure that other customers are able to pull in for their service appointments. The Porter ensures that the customers' cars are vacuumed and run through the car wash in accordance with customer requests. May provide shuttle services for customers.
Pay Range: $16.96 to $21.96 per hour
Duties Include:
- Prepares customer vehicles with protective materials before service begins and removes protective materials, washes exterior, and vacuums interior of the vehicle before delivering the vehicle back to the customer after service is completed.
- Ensures all Courtesy Vehicles are kept clean and fueled in between uses by customers. Communicates any noted physical damage to management, and needed maintenance or repairs.
- Contributes to the flow of vehicles in and out of the service drive by parking and retrieving vehicles for customers and the Service Department employees.
- Ensures that the Service Drive is kept clean and presentable for customers throughout the day, and that customer vehicles and courtesy vehicles are moved out of the Service Drive quickly and appropriately parked in designated areas.
- Assists in the setup of the Car Care Workshops and other corporate events in which the Service Department participates.
- Responsible for safely driving Service Department customers to and from their requested locations while their vehicles are serviced. May also provide vehicle pick-up and delivery services at the direction of management.
- Maintains customer shuttle log after each transport including customer signature for verification.
- Maintains cleanliness of shuttle vehicle. Keeps an adequate fuel level for all phases of driving.
- Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to learn and use the software provided by the dealership.
- Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record
