We are currently seeking a Construction Manager for our East Coast team. Construction Manager will be responsible for delivering our Enhanced Service projects to all clients, mainly in the East Region.
Experience working in Water/Wastewater Plants preferred.
Responsibilities include:
* Deliver Enhanced Service projects to clients in the East Region. (Mainly in NY, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and occasionally in bordering states)
* Oversee construction/renovation projects from beginning to end.
* Coordinate project details with local teams and communicate project status.
* Meet with clients and/or facility teams to understand project needs, budget, and timeline.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key stakeholders of the project.
* Create cost models and project schedules for presentation to all stakeholders.
* Present cost models, schedules, and risk assessment to internal team for approval.
* Draft & present feasibility studies, budgetary analysis, cost/scope proposals to clients. Attend public meetings if necessary.
* Manage budget and schedule from inception through closeout. Ensure deadlines are met.
* Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed.
* Determine subcontractor requirements and solicit bids for defined scope.
* Evaluate bids and negotiate "Scope of Work" subcontracts prior to work.
* Review and approve submittals such as data sheets, installation plans, calculations, and schedules.
* Confirm supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
* Evaluate and communicate risks; Resolve problems as they arise.
* Work with local team to ensure 100% safety compliance to Inframark and regulatory standards.
* Ensure all appropriate permits and licenses are obtained and building codes are followed.
* Coordinate schedules with local operation teams and local clients.
* Draft and submit status reports for local team and client.
* Travel to project sites throughout service area. (30% travel)
Experience:
* 10 yrs experience in Construction and Project delivery/management
* Licensed PE, preferably Civil with construction
* Familiar with Microsoft software, scheduling software, (MS Project, Primivera ect)
* Experience in contract writing and delivery, ability to develop subcontract agreements
* Familiar with governmental regulations, ability to deal with local, state and federal representatives
* Experience in procurement processes, financial reporting
* Experience in client presentations, working with client staff, both municipal and private.
