Job Title: Event Support 

Overview:
As an Event Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success and safety of our fundraising events, particularly at local university graduations. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain order and security by preventing unauthorized street vendors from interfering with our sales stands, staff, and equipment. THIS IS A SEASONAL JOB THAT REQUIRES AVAILABILITY IN MAY AND JUNE.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend fundraising events, particularly at local universities, and enforce regulations to prevent unauthorized vendors from competing with our sales stands.
Monitor the event area to identify and address any potential disruptions to our sales service.
Patrol the perimeter of the venue to prevent unauthorized individuals from gaining access to the event.
Communicate effectively with the supervisor to address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Spanish speaking (not required but preferred).

Previous experience in security (not required but preferred).
Strong communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
