Job Description:

The Finance and Accounting Department is collaborative in its delivery of financial support and service to Dimensional's clients and the other departments throughout the Firm. Technical knowledge of key financial areas, such as accounting principles, tax regulation and regulatory standards, is an important aspect of carrying out many jobs within Finance and Accounting. Problem solving and analytical abilities are paramount in just about everything we do. Intellectual curiosity, ability to cope well with ambiguity and a comfort level with change management are also important attributes of Dimensional's Finance and Accounting professionals.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our new Procurement team. This person will be asked to partner of the Head of Procurement and Department leaders in the development and execution of a strategic vision and operational plans to maximize value through effective procurement practices. The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for managing across multiple stakeholder groups which will contribute to overall financial targets.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and lead procurement operations activities with various business teams

* Partner with business teams and Finance to review and approve purchasing requests, new supplier setup, and negotiate/contract agreements with suppliers

* Lead, identify, and/or support cost reduction efforts including alternative sourcing & suppliers

* Initiates process improvements that enable the buying process at Dimensional

* Develops and ensures compliance with Procurement policies

* Support training of Dimensional users on Procurement process and systems

* Facilitate Procurement reporting and review process

Qualifications:

* A self-starter, positive attitude, zero ego, ability to problem-solve under minimal supervision, in a new function, and approaches problems with a "can do attitude"

* Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect spend (e.g., IT, Professional Services, etc.), including creating and approving PRs/POs, supplier setup and maintenance

* 5-7 years of experience with Procure-to-Pay solutions. Oracle is strongly preferred, but knowledge of Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc. is helpful.

* Ability to translate technical requirements from teams to vendors and legal to source and contract

* Proven success in negotiating across multiple categories, and managing supplier relationships

* Strong computer application skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.,

* Experience with supplier onboarding/management concepts and activities

Preferred:

* CPM, PMP or APICS certifications

* Project management experience

* Experience with T&E systems (i.e., Concur)
