To support our expansion and commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care, we are actively seeking a talented and driven Clinical Talent Sourcer to join our dynamic recruitment team. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying and attracting top-tier veterinary professionals across various specialties and levels.

As a Clinical Talent Sourcer, you will have the exciting opportunity to leverage your sourcing expertise and passion for animal healthcare to build a robust pipeline of exceptional veterinary talent. You will collaborate closely with our recruitment team, partnering with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their staffing needs and proactively source and engage with qualified DVM candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the recruiting team to source, recruit, and deliver a shortlist of qualified veterinary candidates while ensuring a successful candidate experience.
  • Ensure a strong and diverse talent pipeline, both internally and externally, to meet the current and anticipated veterinary staffing needs.
  • Engage with the team to develop a deep understanding of the veterinary roles, specialties, and requirements across all key openings.
  • Source qualified passive veterinary candidates through various channels, including professional associations, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other creative means.
  • Engage and connect with potential veterinary candidates, offer a high level of responsiveness, build relationships, promote the employer brand, and address candidate inquiries.
  • Present a shortlist of pre-screened veterinary candidates, based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and supplementary information within each application.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support additional needs for Recruiters as needed.
  • Maintain data integrity and compliance by collecting/inputting data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Participate in hiring initiatives, including job fairs, hiring events, veterinary school engagement, diversity events, and industry-specific events.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • 2 years of experience in sourcing passive candidates, successful candidate engagement, including screening candidates for both qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Proven expertise in direct and creative sourcing techniques, preferably in the veterinary or healthcare industry.
  • Drive to ensure job openings have appropriate coverage with qualified candidates presented in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, during periods of growth and change.
  • High sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure, dealing with multiple competing priorities and a demanding workload.
  • Flexibility, ability to change direction as needed, and a team-player mindset.
  • Familiarity with veterinary practices, terminologies, and industry trends is a plus.
