Program Overview:
In addition to Full-Time employment with our partner, this program provides NO COST skills-based training to highly motivated individuals on an as needed basis. If provided, this training will be tailored to the specific role and includes both technical and interpersonal components. This unique work-study opportunity differs from the typical job. Our solution, for those who are ready, will put you on the right personal, academic, and professional path while providing the necessary support and mentorship to help keep you there.
Candidate Profile:
• Post 9/11 Veteran-honorably discharged, OR current National Guard / Reservist
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Availability to work full-time
Program Overview:
• Phase 1 - Training (If Needed - Up to 4 Weeks):
• Classes and certification test preparation will be held Monday – Friday
• Training may include:
• Interpersonal Skills
• Technical Training and Certification (if needed)
• Phase 2 - Full-Time Employment:
• Full-Time work (38 hours/week) with a training component (2 hours/week)
• Throughout the program you will receive continued support and individual mentorship to ensure your success.
• Compensation:
• $22.50 Hour (Plus Benefits after 90 days FT)
Overview:
The Data Preservation Specialist is a crucial member of the team responsible for the collection, analysis, and archival of electronic data for legal proceedings. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess advanced problem-solving skills and thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.
Responsibilities:
The Data Preservation Specialist's primary responsibility is to fulfill the preservation request for Physical Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, and NVMe drives, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Perform data collection, analysis, and preservation tasks in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize specialized software tools to process, review, and organize electronic documents and data.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of electronic discovery processes, including data collection, processing, and production.
• Collaborate with legal teams and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data.
• Generate detailed reports and documentation of data processing and analysis activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout the eDiscovery process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in electronic discovery and data management.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using eDiscovery software platforms and similar tools.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to electronic discovery is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
