Description

Hours are flexible and can range from 20-30 hours per week depending on what the right candidate prefers. Open to 4-day work week with remote option after training period. 

The purpose of this role is to process payroll and maintain payroll system regarding hour allocation and pay.

Responsibilities include:

• Tracking wages, hours worked, overtime/deductions/bonuses to process payroll.
• Enter data related to payroll, inventory, and job costing.
• Provide customer service to Team Members by answering questions and solving problems.
• Communicate with supporting staff through messages, email, over the phone, and in-person.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Adjust payroll practices to accurately reflect changes in state/federal laws.
• Update written procedures as necessary.
• Run reports and cross-reference information to ensure accuracy.
• Complete office duties such as preparing correspondence, bookkeeping, scanning/saving information.
• Maintain records through best-practice record retention.

Qualifications

Must have customer service skills to assist employees in a friendly, helpful manner.
Must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Some payroll or accounting experience preferred.
