Trade Center Management Associates is Hiring a Parking Attendant Near Washington, DC

Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming. Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Parking Attendant to join our Parking Operations team.The Parking attendant reports to the Facility Manager and is assigned to different areas of the garage and provides customer guidance to park and exit the garage. The position also provides customers with general directions to get to destinations in the building along with local directions to sites outside the building.Essential Functions
  • Parking Operations: Supervise self-park and valet assist parking and assistance during special events during their shift.
  • Customer service and amenities program: Help clients by putting air in their tires, jumpstarts, and moving vehicles to others spaces in the garage as needed.
  • Reporting: Reports any accidents, suspected policy violations, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence or matter to the Facility Manager.
  • Maintenance and cleaning: Keep their assigned work areas neat and free of debris.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and staff.
  • Familiarity with McGann Parking equipment is helpful.
  • Available to work special events and weekends
  • This position is represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and will need to join the union.
Environment
  • Physical requirements include having the stamina to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to efficiently move and park vehicles in tight quarters.
