Fleet Maintenance:Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks, chippers, stump grinders,
aerial lifts, pumps, and other tree care equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment condition.
Equipment Operation:Operate and test equipment, including aerial lifts, to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
Train crew members on basic equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Provide support during tree care operations, including the setup and breakdown of equipment
on job sites.
Aerial Lift Maintenance:Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on aerial lifts, ensuring compliance with safety
standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues related to aerial lift
equipment.

Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to stay updated on the latest maintenance
practices and safety features.
Troubleshooting:Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with field crews to identify and address any equipment-related challenges.
Safety Compliance:Ensure that all equipment, including aerial lifts, meets safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the management to implement and enforce safety protocols related to
equipment operation and maintenance.
Inventory Management:Keep track of spare parts inventory for all equipment, including aerial lifts, and order supplies as
needed.
Work with vendors to procure parts and negotiate pricing to optimize costs.
Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts
inventory.
Generate reports as required by management to assess the overall health of the fleet.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a mechanic
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and
electrical components
Experience repairing small motors and pumps
Experience with the maintenance and repair of aerial lifts
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of tree care equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to enforce them
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
