ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages, configures, and maintains Electronic Quality Management Systems and QA databases.

• Acts as a single point of contact for EQMS based needs and questions for all of SCS’s US and international locations.
• Identifies and tailors SCS’s QMS to better accommodate the needs of assigned SCS locations and upholds compliance with SCS’s QMS.
• Partners with system owners to identify system configurations and potential areas for improvement that can be leveraged across the organization.
• Ensures that deviations to quality management system documentation are approved and understood by all personnel.
• Develops and documents best practices; Trains system users.
• Utilizes available resources to trouble shoot issues and provide solutions.
• Manages and tracks open issues with software developer and ensures satisfactory completion.
• Stays current with the latest industry trends.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance of document and record management requirements that are maintained within the EQMS.
• Collects and analyzes data and prepares requested reports.
• Provides clerical assistance to the Quality Department.
• Completes assigned tasks as relating to NCMR (Non-Conforming Material Request), CAR/PAR (Corrective Action Request/Preventative Action Request), and DCR (Document Change Request).
• Analyzes data with Minitab using prescribed methodology and utilizes Microsoft Office report generation to summarize results.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acts as a team member for internal, ISO and customer audits as assigned.

• May assist in activities such as review of calibration and equipment records to ensure complete and accurate as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support fluctuating business needs.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree from a two year college or technical school required with minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; must have familiarity with ISO, AS, or TS Quality Systems. Must have previous experience with document control and ERP software. Work experience in automotive, medical or aerospace industries preferred. 

BASIC SKILLS:

Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret documents and data.

• Experience in implementing new EQMS is preferred.
• Strong software implementation and administration of configurable EQMS solution is preferred
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Writing Excel macros and developing complex spreadsheets is desired.
• High proficiency in using databases (MS Access).
• Demonstrated proficiency in using software systems, such as ERP, Lotus Notes or other software systems, as specified.
• Ability to speak read and write English.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact closely with other departments.
• Proven ability to provide effective internal customer service.
• Possess a natural curiosity and interest in industry trends for EQMS and data analysis.
• Have a working knowledge regarding ISO quality standards, statistical process control and other quality measurement systems.
