Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
• Develop, conduct, support, or assist in reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of facility and personnel security processes.
• Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure protection from intruders, fire hazards, theft, and vandalism.
• Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
• Develop or manage integrated security controls to ensure confidentiality, accountability, recoverability, or audit ability of sensitive information, proprietary information.
• Supports Human Resources in employee personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of the Security workforce.
• Lead monthly meetings with all subcontractors to evaluate the service level agreement established on the contract.
• Manage the risk assessment for the security and implement measures to guarantee the business continuity.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Forecast, allocates and supervises the financial and physical resources of the security team (i.e. capital and expenses budgets).
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Specifications

• 7 years of experience in a similar role
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge in C-TPAT and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)
• Advanced computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Contract management
• Risk management assessment
• Requires a valid driver’s license and must be able to pass the MVR requirements
• Will be able to meet and obtain all government required certifications for armed guard licenses
