Arnold Lumber Co is Hiring a Kitchen Designer Near Bristol, RI
The Kitchen & Bath Designer will collaborate with our lumber sales team to build relationships with our contractor base, and will independently develop relationships with architects, the design community and local retail clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage design process, from initial layout to final order
- Accurately translate rough measures into working designs with specific deadlines, including preliminary on-site client visit to confirm accurate project measurements
- Provide all necessary order and product information to client including pricing, specifications, installation guidelines, care and warranty
- Partner with internal customers (General Manager, Outside Sales, Customer Service, and Vendor Support) to resolve client issues in timely manner and to clients satisfaction
- Stay current on product offerings and technology to represent the brand and products accurately and confidently
- Use reference materials in showroom and internet tools to provide solutions and make recommendations to clients
- Maintain a positive attitude and stay organized while managing multiple projects
Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Kitchen & Bath sales and design; portfolio examples required
- Proficient in use of 20/20 and/or Autocad
- Solid knowledge of cabinetry construction and design planning
- Strong project management, organizational skills, and ability to work within a team environment
- Experience in resolving problems that arise from design to installation
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to find connections between
companys products and clients needs and to provide alternative solutions - Ability to travel to on site client locations on a regular basis
- Skills to deliver the best customer experience
