Intervention, Inc., a Colorado non-profit, provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs), electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections.

OVERVIEW
Complete reconciliations, accounts payables and receivables, billing, and provide general accounting support.

• Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.

• Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
• Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations.
• Process all account receivables into accounting software timely and accurately
• Post receipts and make deposits, as required
• Verify, process and manage State, County and vendor monthly billing and prepare monthly summaries
• Assist with and provide coverage for A/P to include check processing and problem solving
• Monitor aging A/R to ensure that receivables are collected promptly, follow-up with customers
• Assist with financial audits
• Assist with all bank reconciliation for all client bank accounts monthly
• Assist with preparing monthly Corrections Treatment Fund (CTF) billing and CCIB for all population of clients
• Maintain electronic accounting folders for deposits and invoices
• Assist with counting daily out-client deposits
• Assist management staff as needed
• Perform other accounting duties and reporting as required.
• Provide coverage for Administrative Support Staff
• Drives personal car to court, jail and/or other sites as required, including in adverse weather
• Attend required trainings and meetings, apply skills and knowledge.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from accredited two-year college or technical school in Accounting or closely related field; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles, some payroll experience
• Ability to accurately enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of financial programs and databases
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of computer software including but not limited to QuickBooks Online accounting software, payroll/HRIS software, MS Excel, Word, Outlook
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Customer service orientation
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills to be able to research and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to prioritize, manage time and meet deadlines
• Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, and stakeholders.
• Must pass background check.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Paylocity a plus

Location: Lakewood, CO
Starting Pay: $26.44 - $28.84 hourly 
Hours: M-F (full time)
