Your Role as a Physical Therapy Billing Account Manager means playing a vital role in managing client relationships related to efficient billing operations.
You'll work closely between physical therapy practices and our billing and collection operations department.
Responsibilities :
- Manage assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships with physical therapy practice clients
- Mange junior team members
- Understand all aspects of revenue cycle management, including coding, charge capture, claims submission, and collections
- Analyze key billing and collections metrics, identifying areas for improvement and presenting findings to clients
- Proactively address client inquiries and concerns, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Work independently to manage daily tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure smooth billing processes
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in physical therapy billing
- Maintain a positive and solutions-oriented attitude
Qualifications :
- 2-3 years of experience in the therapy medical billing field
- Strong understanding of the revenue management cycle for physical therapy providers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems critically and independently
- Positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with physical therapy EMR applications such as Prompt, Webpt, Therabill, Theraoffice, Heno, EZclaim, Kareo / Tebra, MWtherapy, etc
- Proficient in Google Work Space, Microsoft
