Job title:USMC or USAF Drone Ground Control Station Technician Subject Matter Expert

LOCATION: Onsite and/or Remote

STATUS:Contract; up to 30 hours per week for 4 months

Carley is seeking to hire an experienced Drone Ground Control Station Technician to provide expertise to our Instructional Design team for Ground Control Station Technician's courseware.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AT CARLEY:

  • Assist Instructional Designers in interpreting technical data (input from Government SMEs, publications, Technical Manuals, curriculum, Job Sheets, etc.), reviewing, providing recommendations to include content for training courseware and recommending training scenarios.
  • Articulate how the courseware technical data is important and relevant to the Ground Control Station Technician.
  • Explain or describe technical processes to others in a concise, technical, and professional manner.
  • Complete assigned tasks that are technically correct and are submitted according to the agreed upon schedule.
  • May be able to work remotely from current home location.
  • Must be available during core business hours to participate in team meetings.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned and needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-6 years of relevant and recent experience as a USMC or USAF Ground Control Station Technician - REQUIRED
  • Experience in the USMC or USAF Ground Control Station Technician position within the past 10 years.
  • Experience in a supervisory position- REQUIRED
  • Experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint - REQUIRED
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills - REQUIRED
  • Experience as an MQ-9 Ground Control Station Technician - PREFERRED
  • Experience as an MQ-9A Block 30 Ground Control Station Technician - PREFERRED
  • Due to the nature of the work at Carley, this position requires U.S. citizenship - REQUIRED.

  • Employees living 50 miles or less of the Carley corporate office will be deemed as local and must have the ability and means to support onsite hours - REQUIRED.
