Immaculate Facility Services is Hiring a Floor Technician(Overnight Shift) Near Memphis, TN
- Provide immaculate cleaning services throughout the warehouse facility
- Maintain clean buildings and floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, shining and cleaning surfaces floors
- Strip, wax, seal, and buff floors using buffing/waxing machines, etc., including breakroom/bathrooms to maintain neat and tidy appearance
- Train new hires on use and preventative care on floor equipment
- Mix various cleaning agents and use cleaning solution to remove stain to clean surfaces, using proper PPE
- Identify and report possible repairs and/or negative conditions
- Operate motorized equipment (industrial trucks) required to perform task or travel to clean work areas throughout facility
- Pressure wash floor scrubbers, walkways, gazebos, etc. as needed
- Attend to emergencies and perform other job-related duties as necessary
- Perform other job-duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Previous knowledge of cleaning equipment and floor maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Demonstrate an ability to perform essential job function
- Ability to operate or learn to use various pieces of equipment as required
- Monitor and keep equipment in good working condition by providing proper care and maintenance and report any equipment repairs, promptly
- Ability to endure long hours of continuous work when called upon to do so
- Physical efforts required by the job includes: walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Detailed and team oriented
- Must be able to work independently and accomplish goals with minimum supervision.
- Must be certified to operate motorize equipment.
