Cristo Rey Jesuit is a Catholic college preparatory school that exclusively serves young men and women who would not otherwise be able to afford a private education. We prepare students to be college-ready and career-prepared! We achieve this through a rigorous academic curriculum and an innovative Corporate Work-Study Program that places students in Houston businesses and nonprofits where they earn up to 50 percent of the cost of their education.

Cristo Rey Jesuit and TCAL Policies

• Adhere to all financial policies and procedures as established and facilitated be Cristo Rey Jesuit in the Financial Handbook.
• Hold students accountable to the policies of eligibility and discipline outlined in the Cristo Rey Jesuit Student Handbook.
• The Coach will attend or take any training session required by Cristo Rey Jesuit or TCSAAL (if applicable).

Safety and Risk Management

• Adhere to all safety guidelines of Cristo Rey Jesuit and NFHS (if applicable).
• Meet all certification requirements of Cristo Rey Jesuit and TCAL (if applicable).
• Adhere to all recommendations made by doctor, athletic director, or trainer.
• Oversee safe use and conditions of equipment.
• Maintain and coordinate the storage and/or maintenance of equipment.

Coach’s Responsibilities

• Agrees to be responsible for who participates on what days, competitions, and practices.
• Agrees to be responsible for disciplining the team during or before practice or competitions.
• Agrees to be responsible for supervising practices, attending games, and assisting in creating a healthy competitive environment according to policies and procedures stipulated by Cristo Rey Jesuit.
• Agrees to ensure that all team members are educated on all safety procedures and potential injuries in their particular sport according to guidelines set by NFHS.
• Agrees to be present for all official practices and competitions agreed upon in advance by the Coach and Athletic Director.
• Agrees to complete or assign someone to complete all scoring reports on RANKONE, ATHLETIC.NET, and MAXPREPS. The reports should be submitted by 10am the day after the competition.
• Agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by Cristo Rey Jesuit and TCAL.
• Agrees to mandate and/or monitor attendance.
• Agrees to approve students for PE credit and report the approval or denial to the Athletic Director.
• Agrees to arrange and provide instruction for assistant or guest coaches.
• Agrees to hold him/herself to the highest level of sportsmanship when dealing with opposing coaches or officials.
• Agrees to help maintain practice /playing areas for that specific sport.
• Agrees to stay with student(s) until the time they are picked up from the event and/or practice prior to leaving.

Pay: $675.00 - $1,300.00 per month
