Apartment Make Ready Technician/Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Industry is booming, and the opportunities are endless! Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician who will be responsible for performing general building maintenance and apartment repairs per assigned work orders or at the direction of the property manager.

Benefits include weekly pay, and we have temporary or temp to perm positions available!

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Complete and troubleshoot common apartment service requests
• Fix minor plumping and electrical issues
• Install and repair appliances
• Repair general punch items
• Trash out recently vacated apartments
• Ensure apartment home will pass inspection for new move in
• Exterior/Interior painting and caulking, and light drywall repair
• Painting, pressure washing, and leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots
• Work on-call if hired permanently

Must Have’s:

• Light electrical experience (6 months to 1 year)
• Basic plumbing experience (years?)
• Ability to install appliances
• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Ability and desire to jump in and assist with other community projects
• Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
• Own a set of basic hand tools such as a screwdriver, channel lock/pliers, and wrenches
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers

Nice to Have’s:

• Own a set of power tools
