THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Multimedia Designer position at Dearing Group is pivotal in conceptualizing and executing design across various platforms including web, print, and video. This role is designed for creative individuals who not only possess strong graphic design skills but also supplement their expertise with either video editing and motion graphics experience, or web design experience. We welcome candidates who specialize in any of these areas, as each skill set uniquely enhances our comprehensive marketing efforts. Collaborating closely with creative directors, copywriters, and web developers, the Multimedia Designer will be part of a dynamic team, actively engaging in creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative concepts and strategies. Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to showcase their diverse skill sets and contribute to multifaceted marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Creative: Help establish creative approach, messaging or theme that communicates an intentional story or otherwise personifies the soul of the client’s brand.
• Print Design: Design traditional marketing communications pieces including sales literature, POP materials and advertising elements.
• Digital Design: Design digital elements including website interfaces, digital display ads and digital signage messaging.
• Motion Graphics Animation: Bring your designs to life with animated graphics for signage, video integration and websites.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization, planning, prioritization and time management skills
• Strong written/oral communication and proofing skills
• Professional and welcoming demeanor in working with both clients and co-workers
• Flexibility to seamlessly adjust to changing projects, priorities and dates
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite
• A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related creative field
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative suite, Office, Google Docs, etc.
• Web Design experience or Motion Graphics & Video Editing experience is a big plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

To perform essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required with or without reasonable accommodation to sit, stand, bend and reach with manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, copiers, telephones and other office equipment. May require the lifting of up to 40 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
