Role Details:

Location: Maryland Heights, MO

Schedule: 2 Days remote; 3 days onsite

Seniority Level: 5 Years

Responsibilities:

• This role primarily involves design responsibilities; however, the candidate will be expected to be hands-on as well. They will assist with troubleshooting and provide guidance to team members.

1. Example Projects:

• Projects may include integrating new features or services into our AWS cloud environment based on requirements from field operations. For example, enhancing existing microservices or developing new ones to support business needs.

1. Tech Stack and Development Tools:

• Our microservices are developed using Java Spring Boot. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Java technologies and Spring Boot. They will work with AWS services such as SQS (Simple Queue Service), S3 (Simple Storage Service), SMS (Server Migration Service), etc. Experience with ETS cluster management and networking concepts (e.g., firewalls) is essential.

MUST HAVE Skillsets:

• Hands-on experience with Java technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Proficiency in an AWS Cloud environment with services such as SQS, S3, SMS, etc.
• Experience with ETS cluster management.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including firewalls.

Desired Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
