The Workshop manager leads and supports a team of 20 employees on the workshop floor and helps achieve targets and objectives for the organization. This position has a focus on safety, quality, supply reliability, speed and efficiency within the Workshop Department.

**What youll be doing**

Key elements of your role include:

* Sets a good example, ensures compliance with the rules, values, and standards, and acts as a role model

* Allocates tasks and responsibilities and gives instructions taking into account the priorities and the competencies of the employees

* Monitors progress and quality

* Develops, encourages, and motivates employees

* Gives feedback about the performance of employees in relation to their tasks, attitude, and behaviour

* Carries out Human Resources activities within the own area of responsibility, namely the selection of employees

* Takes part in decision-making about the individual employment conditions of employees

* Holds performance assessment interviews and performance evaluation interviews, implements the consequences of such, and handles other personnel-related activities

**Certifications:**

* Degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering

**Education:**

* Technical college degree preferred

**Languages:**

* Excellent written & spoken English

**Training:**

* Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment required.

**Skills:**

* Excellent communicator with analytical skill and the ability to work under pressure

**Experience:**

* At least 3-5 years experience in a management position
