**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, file management, and insurance verification. This role requires excellent organizational skills and knowledge of medical coding and billing practices.
**Responsibilities:**
- Verify insurance coverage for patients and ensure all necessary authorizations are obtained.
- Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Review medical documentation to ensure compliance with coding guidelines.
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 codes for accurate billing.
- Maintain detailed records of patient information and insurance transactions.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in insurance verification and medical billing.
- Strong understanding of medical coding practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in handling medical records is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
