The Director of Benefits manages the U.S. group benefits plans with a strong focus on customer service and a mindset on continuous process improvement for all benefit plans.
Responsibilities
Driving all employee benefit programs
Leveraging UKG/Kronos on process improvement in terms of benefits
Handle 401(k) administration
Timely and accurate processing of benefits-related documentation
Administer and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Work directly with vendors, brokers and carriers
Understand ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.,
Work directly with the HR team members at all locations to ensure they are equipped with all benefits related items/ presentations
Understand financials, claims processing, and captive plans
Maintain training documentation and create SOP's as needed
Recommend process improvement
Qualifications
10 years of benefits experience
Proven knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and federal/state leave laws
Degree in relevant field, preferred
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG
Ability to complete various types of projects
Vendor management experience
Significant experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Salary Range: $120k-$140k
Work Environment:100% On-site in Downtown Cleveland
