Position Purpose
Provide a leadership role in the development, hiring and expansion of the Landscape Architecture practice
in the Raleigh office of BGE. Lead and collaborate with design teams across multiple offices to produce
high quality designs, due diligence reports, graphics, landscape plans, concept plans, construction
documents, and other items on a variety of projects, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, office
and industrial.
Job Responsibilities
•Work with teams to lead and advance the design of a variety of projects by providing Due
diligence, site analysis, master planning, landscape design, construction document detailing and
graphics.
•Provide primary landscape design for Raleigh office and the Southeast Region
•Assist with hiring and mentorship of entry level LA staff
•Assist with quality control measures in the production of landscape construction documents
•Provide support in the preparation of landscape construction documents, landscape design,
entitlement documents and graphics.
Job Requirements
•Bachelors or master's degree in landscape architecture or related field from accredited program
•Landscape Architecture licensure
•5 years of landscape architecture experience
•Ability to work within and communicate effectively with project team
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to communicate directly with clients and develop strong relationships within the region
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe suite programs.
•Photoshop, Sketch up, Lumion and GIS is a plus
