In this role, you will provide maintenance of the medical instruments, primarily
monitor/defibrillators, AEDs and infusion pumps, by analyzing performance,
resolving problems, answering user questions, and supporting our clients across
multiple locations primarily in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California, and
Northern Nevada. You will be responsible for scheduled maintenance and
completing or facilitating necessary corrective repairs. This position is based in the
greater Portland, Oregon area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Honest, self-motivated, professional, team player and the ability to work with
minimal supervision.
• Travel to client locations when needed.
• Exceptional client communication skills and organizational skills with a proven
ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to provide minimum 100 square foot heated, secure workspace.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide telephone/ field support to resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through from
phone calls or email to work order entry system.
• Document work in accordance with internal procedures.
• Maintain inventory of all test equipment, loaner and parts inventories.
Basic Requirements:
2-year Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or commensurate
experience. 3 years of relevant technical experience.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED EXPERIENCE (Not necessarily required):
Certifications and training specific to patient monitors and related systems.
