Maintenance Technician

Adecco is seeking DIRECT HIRE candidate for a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician position. The Technician position is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our machinery and equipment within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and conducting repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities may include:

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machines.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to determine root causes of malfunctions.

Disassemble machinery and equipment to access and repair or replace defective parts.

Clean and lubricate machinery parts to maintain smooth operation and prevent premature wear and tear.

Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and minimize production errors.

Install new machinery and equipment as needed, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and maintenance schedules.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.

Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians as needed.

Participate in emergency on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance issues.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.

Proven experience as a machine maintenance technician or similar role.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.

Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or kneeling.

Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.

Pay will be based on experience and shift desired starting at $20.00 per hour.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
