Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Utility Worker to join our team. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties: - Assist with the construction and maintenance of utility pipelines - Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, clearing debris, and operating equipment - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget - Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of construction plans - Utilize construction management software to track progress and update project documentation - Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards - Assist with construction estimating, budgeting, and contract management - Supervise and coordinate subcontractors as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience in utility construction or a related field is preferred - Proficiency in Primavera or other construction management software is a plus - Strong knowledge of pipeline construction techniques and best practices - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
