Research Operations Manager at R1 RCM in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description As our Research Ops Manager, you will oversee the operational aspects of design research. Each day, you will ensure an optimized research process through strategic alliances with cross-functional partners in Product and Operations. To thrive in this role, you must be highly organized and proactive with experience in mixed methods; qualitative and quantitative research. You'll closely collaborate with designers, product managers and stakeholders to streamline workflows, implement best practices and drive operational excellence within research activities from discovery to validation. Responsibilities: Process Optimization : Designing and implementing research processes, systems, and frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency in research operations. Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to researchers on tools, methodologies, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning. Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards for research deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality research outputs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with various teams, including product management, design, engineering, and marketing, to understand their research needs and align the research team's efforts accordingly. Metrics and Analytics: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate research outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and report on the effectiveness of research operations. Research Tools and Infrastructure: Identifying, evaluating, implementing, and training team members on research tools and technologies that enhance research efficiency and effectiveness. Documentation and Communication: Establishing documentation and communication processes to ensure clear and effective dissemination of research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Continuously identifying opportunities to improve and optimize research processes, methodologies, and operations through industry best practices and emerging trends. Required Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have a background in design and project management, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and people management skills.
