The Mayfield Messenger has an opening for a reporter. The Messenger is a weekly newspaper serving the citizens of Mayfield, Kentucky since 1900. We are looking for a community storyteller. Covering everything from local government, schools and business to the social scene, a community journalist is always avidly curious. The successful candidate will report on important issues and interesting people. We’re looking for a good writer with photography skills. Mayfield is a town successfully coming back from a deadly, terribly destructive tornado that brought it national attention. There are lots of stories yet to be told.
