Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Transporter to join our team. As a Transporter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently Transporting Human Remains.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the company's Minivans to transport Human Remains
- Perform lifting as needed to load and unload Human Remains
- Communicate effectively with families, funeral homes, and staff about the transportation of the remains
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete delivery or transportation logs accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a van driver, limousine driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, school bus driver, or have worked on-call is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Capable of performing lifting tasks when required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times while interacting with all clients
