If you are person who has the following:

• A High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of retail optician / dispensing experience
• Strong knowledge of vision insurance plans, eligibility, and authorizations

• Has strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, staff, and doctors
• Has a working knowledge of proper sales techniques
• Is able to advise patients on proper frame design, fit, and performance

And wouldn't mind working with patient to:

• Perform prescription analysis such as interpreting and transposing.
• Provides patient education regarding lens materials, products, and designs.
• Recommends to patients regarding proper eyeglass frame selection and proper fit
• Adjust/repair frames. Includes proper alignment of frame, comfortable fit, functional vision
• Performs accurate measurements of lens power, pupillary distance, multifocal segment height, lens base curve, vertex distance, and prism power.
• Order custom lens products from wholesale optical laboratories, monitor process, post charges, and bill insurance when needed.
• Orders contact lenses for patients
• Instructs patients on proper contact lens care, insertion, and removal.
• Verifies lens prescriptions of ordered lenses and checks for accuracy
• Assists in wholesale purchasing of frames and other products for resale to patients.
• Maintain product displays
• Promotes products and services of elective programs within Collins Vision
