Digital Production Assistant

Objective

Assist in the production of signs, banners, and other similar digitally produced graphics while maintaining a positive project workflow and a clean work environment congruent with company standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in production finishing- weeding, masking, laminating, mounting, and trimming of vinyl and digitally printed vinyl on rigid and flexible substrates. Experience in car wrapping or window tinting is a plus.

Primary Duties

• Operation and maintenance of digital and cut vinyl sign-making equipment, including but not limited to large format digital printers, vinyl plotters, and other tools.
• Operating digital finishing equipment, including but not limited to laminators, mounters, heat welders, and other tools.

• Report to Production Manager on workflow, inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining workflow and productivity as needed.
• Documenting project workflow and order completion.
• Effectively communicating with other departments and managers concerning timelines, inventory, supplies, and additional project-related information.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle up to 4’ x 8’ substrates
• Daily, weekly, and monthly facility maintenance (i.e. sweeping, mopping, changing a/c filters, taking out the trash, etc.)

Hourly pay, based on experience. A wide array of benefits, including medical (company contribution towards the cost), dental, vision, $20K company paid life policy, and other voluntary benefits, after one year eligible for 401K company match of 4%, holiday, personal time, and vacation pay.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
