ABLEMKR is Hiring a Water Remediation Technician Near Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls for water damage mitigation
- Assess the extent of water damage and develop a mitigation plan
- Extract water using pumps, vacuums, and other equipment
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials, such as carpets and drywall
- Set up drying equipment and monitor humidity levels
- Apply antimicrobial treatments to prevent mold growth
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, as needed for repairs
- Document work activities and complete required paperwork
- IICRC certification preferred
- Prior experience in water damage mitigation or a related field
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with industry guidelines and regulations for water mitigation
- Ability to effectively use water extraction and drying equipment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- $32-$37/hr depending on experience
