Job Summary:
Heavy Metal Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our construction team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a crew of construction workers. Your expertise in various construction tasks and your ability to lead and motivate a crew will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Duties:
- Lead and supervise a crew of construction workers, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the crew, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and according to project specifications
- Perform various construction tasks, such as concrete pumping, finishing, potential framing and renovation work

- Have the ability to read and understand construction plans
- Confident with operating heavy equipment as required for project needs
- Collaborate with a project manager on schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Train new crew members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor progress of projects, identify any issues or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by crew members

Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in various construction tasks, mainly involving concrete pumping, finishing, framing, renovation etc.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to estimate construction materials and costs accurately
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience. Hourly pay rate is negotiable.
