Branch Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to drive growth and operational excellence as the Branch Manager for Brightstar Care of Greenville, a leading home care agency in Pitt County. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management, profitability, and strategic success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Personnel Management

  • Oversee branch staff and administrative personnel
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching/counseling, and implement disciplinary actions as needed
  • Foster an engaged, productive, and customer-centric culture among the branch team
  • Administer payroll, billing, time off requests, and maintain staffing levels to meet patient needs
  • Develop staffing plans to accommodate projected patient volumes and branch growth
  • Ensure personnel and hiring policy compliance with state and federal regulations

Financial Management

  • Oversee the branch's financial performance including revenue/reimbursement management
  • Ensure accurate billing/coding through ongoing audits and staff training
  • Manage branch expenses including weekly payroll, supplies, and other operational costs
  • Approve weekly invoices and submit monthly financial/operational reports to corporate

Clinical Operations

  • Oversee branch operations related to patient admissions, care delivery, and quality assurance
  • Ensure adherence to Brand Standards and State regulations
  • Investigate and resolve patient and employee complaints/grievances in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and participate in annual state surveys and accreditation processes

Requirements:

  • 2 years of branch manager experience
  • 2 years of home health, hospice, or post-acute care operations (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling/EMR software, and operating healthcare applications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking/presentation abilities
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of driving operational improvements and financial growth
  • Proven skills in managing multi-disciplinary teams and developing/mentoring staff
  • Compassionate leader focused on delivering quality patient-centric care
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related clinical field preferred
  • One week including weekend of on-call per month (Bonus pay for on call week!)

The Branch Manager is a vital leadership role overseeing all facets of branch operations while serving as the primary driver of business growth and profitability This is a fast-paced, hands-on position requiring flexibility and commitment to our company's mission of delivering superior home healthcare services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
