PUTNAM CITY SCHOOLS is looking for a Elementary Teacher in the Oklahoma City, OK area!

Responsibilities:

• Teach students in a variety of subjects in a variety of settings, including K-8 classrooms
• Assist in the implementation of teaching plans developed by the Lead Teacher
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and creativity in working with students to meet their needs
• Collaborate with other teachers and parents to build partnerships for student success
• Attend teacher development trainings and team meetings
• Support the Lead Teacher as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Strong skills in teaching students in a variety of subjects in a variety of settings, including K-8 classrooms
• Experience working with other students and staff members in the classroom and at home
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and physical fitness test, which will be provided upon hire
