C&L Autobody is seeking a Heavy Duty Tow Operator for the Northern NJ area. $25 - $35 hourly

Primary responsibilities include:

• Drive tow truck safely to recover and/or maintain disabled vehicles
• Perform pre-inspections preventive maintenance checks
• Keep accurate time and mileage logs
• Adhere to all local state and federal vehicle regulations
• Provide customer-focused service at all times

Physical Demands:

• The work requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted

To qualify for this position you will need:

• 2 years’ tow truck driving experience
• Pass drug screening
• Clean background check
• Clean driver’s license
• Ability to park a commercial vehicle at your home is a plus
• Experience with mobile device dispatch and GPS
