Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives and contribute to their overall healthcare experience.
Duties:
- Greet and assist new patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits for patients
- Social Media Management & SEO Lead Evaluations
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Handle insurance verification and billing processes
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with medical office tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and coordination of patient care
- Lead position available and will report directly to Practice Administrator
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office or medical administrative support role preferred
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR = eCW)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
