Since 1988, Sierra Mountain Express, Inc. has been delivering new vehicles on time and damage-free. We deliver from 24 locations around the United States moving over 700,000 vehicles per year. Currently, we are hiring a Company Driver to join our Council Bluffs, IA terminal team!

· Performs pre-inspection of all new vehicles assigned and completes the appropriate paperwork.

· Performs physical inspections before leaving the yard on your truck, including but not limited to the condition of tires, check fluid levels, verify signals and lights are working.

· Ensures that the EPOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) is signed by both parties at the time of delivery.

· Loads new vehicles safely on the truck and trailer for delivery and unloads at the destination on the bill of lading.

· Complies with DOT policies and procedures.

· Maintains familiarity with the vehicle shipping requirements of all customers.

· Applies proper behavior and procedure when unloading at the dealership.

· Carefully inspects all vehicles before loading. Must know about unique vehicle characteristics, for example, disabling automatic load-leveling devices. Diligently plans the load, which vehicle goes into which position on the truck.

· Delivers on time and safely.

· Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and pulls down tie bars, up to 75 pounds.

2 years minimum commercial driving experience required.
