JTEC Consulting is Hiring a DevOps Administrator Near San Antonio, TX
Security Clearance Requirement: Secret (IT-1 required)
Location Note: Remote from a U.S. based location will be considered
Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is seeking a Mid DevOps Administrator to support Service Management/Operations Management for an Enterprise Resource Planning Common Services (ERP-CS) environment supporting a DoD customer.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Support the processes to operate and enhance cloud platforms that provide monitoring, management, security, containerization and automation capabilities.
- Provide platform onboarding support, engineering and operations management and to scaleas demand for services increases or as new services are introduced.
- U.S. citizenship
- Current Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; associates degree or related military training will be considered
- Industry recognized technical certification to meet IAT Level I
- 5 years of related experience supporting a DevOps development, engineering or operations management environment
- Experience with AWS or Azure and the processes necessary to enhance cloud platforms
- Experience with one or more of the following activities: monitoring, management, security, containerization, and automation
- Effective written communication skills and the ability to effectively work as a leader, in a group, or as an individual contributor
- Industry recognized technical certification to meet IAT Level II is preferred
- Experience with automation using Jira and GitHub is preferred
- Experience with Bitbucket is preferred
- Experience with FlexDeploy is a plus
- Experience developing in an Agile environment including software or scripting with Java, JavaScript, Python or UNIX shell is preferred
- Prior experience supporting a DoD environment or USAF technology infrastructure is a plus
Salary:
