Job Description We are searching for a Credit Support Specialist to join our team at our Russell Parkway branch. The employee will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the credit function of the bank.

**Essential Functions**

* Prepares credit memos, financial reviews and reports for Annual Reviews.

* Ensures that updated financials are obtained annually on credits in excess of $500,000 and that Annual Reviews are performed including management of the database of these credits.

* Maintains the bank's credit files.

* Orders appraisals, performs appraisal reviews, and prepares in-house evaluations when an outside appraisal is not required for a transaction.

* Orders Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments when required.

* Responsible for preparing and distributing the Management Loan Committee meeting package and the Executive Loan Committee meeting package.

* Serves as backup to the recording secretary for timely and accurate preparation of the minutes for the Management Loan Committee and the Executive Loan Committee.

* Gathers maps and other information needed for Commercial Relationship Managers

* Performs monthly residential construction inspections.

* Prepares criticized loan asset reports.

* Prepares and distributes Credit Quality meeting materials.

* Ensures compliance with State and Federal rules, regulations, and laws.

* Maintains an overall knowledge of the bank's products and services.

Job Requirements **Required Education, Experience, and Skills**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2 years banking experience in a credit department, commercial lending support role, loan processing, mortgage processing, or underwriting.
