Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets, employees, and customers. Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV cameras and conduct surveillance to identify any suspicious activity
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft and maintain a visible presence
- Investigate incidents of theft or misconduct and gather evidence for potential criminal prosecution
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to report incidents and assist with investigations
- Implement loss prevention strategies and recommend improvements to minimize risk
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security concerns or inquiries
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and daily activities
- Assist in training employees on security procedures and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with report writing and documenting incidents accurately
- Understanding of local laws and regulations related to asset protection
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
