EmployNV Youth Hub is Hiring a Recovery Advocate Near Las Vegas, NV

**This is a Work Experience position available through EmployNV Youth Hub. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined.
Complete patient intake process, ensure patient understanding of facility rules, obtain consent for treatment,
search patient belongings, and complete admission checklist.
- Improves Company processes by consulting with Management when there is a problem developing;
offering suggestions to improve processes and resolve potential complaints.
- Facilitates non-clinical patient groups.
- Set and maintain clear professional boundaries.
- Attend all mandatory Company training and meetings.
- Appropriately document all relevant information in the patient's electronic health record.
- Complete discharge processes, including all items indicated on discharge checklist.
- Protects the integrity of the Company's reputation and the safety of patients and staff by adhering to
Company policies and procedures.
- Help with case management, including finding resources for patients, scheduling outside appointments, and
finding resources for patients upon discharge.
- Maintain the environment of care by completing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Complete Recovery Advocate checklist per scheduled shift.
- Enter medications into eMAR, observe medication administration in compliance with Company policies
and procedures.
- Communicate with the Medical Director regarding patient symptoms, medication, and any medical
emergencies.
- Communicate with pharmacy to ensure patient medications are refilled as needed and delivered in a timely
manner.
- Complete fire drills and corresponding documentation in compliance with Fire, Life, and Safety standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication
- Possesses a working knowledge and understanding of addiction recovery, specifically related to
women/gender-specific issues.
- Ability to effectively maintain patient records
- Excellent listening skills
- Capable of building relationships
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Possess the skills necessary to comprehend, enforce, and apply Company policies and procedures -
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs - Self-motivated
- Ability to apply culturally sensitive practices
- Possess the skills to be a recovery role model for patients

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license
