**Pay:** Tipped position averaging $11.00-$17.00/hour

**Responsibilities:**

* Host/Hostess

Meet and greet guests as they arrive, escort them to their table and present appropriate menus

Read, maintain, and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management.

Maintain proper set up of dining room and to be prepared for guests at opening

Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions via email, telephone and open table

Ensure cleanliness of all areas specifically host, lobby, retail, restroom areas

Clear dirty table settings in dining room and prepare table for resetting

Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning

Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments

Maintain and set up trays and tables to be ready for incoming guests

Keep all supplies, condiments, and rolled silverware stocked and trays clean

Deliver hot and cold food in a timely manner

Carry trays up to 30 lbs or push equipment to needed location for patio/events

Assist food servers in clearing tables

**Requirements:**

Previous experience working as a Host/Hostess

* Busser

No previous experience required
